Our Country Needs A Watch Dog

Sushma Khanal – Not only Nepal but the whole world is passing through a challenging phase due to this pandemic : covid-19. In this Situation our country is hit even more badly because of the political issues along with the health issue . So many protests are going on across the country with the huge participation of citizens in a peaceful way . These protests are even more respected when I got to know that these protest are not lead by any political party. It’s really tough in Nepal to keep away political interfere from any protest.

But unfortunately this protest is also seems to be contaminated by some political influence which has made the participates citizens so depressed. And citizens are compelled to think about :  is it necessary to be involved in any political party to care about the nation?  Is it necessary to promote the flag of political party to showcase the problems that people are having with the actions of government? Is it necessary to be involved in political party to express the satisfaction and disappointment regarding action of government?

And most importantly, Is it necessary to pull down the government to correct the present situation?
Can’t we just appeal the government to correct their action . We should know that we are always with government in its good deeds  And we also won’t lag to alert the government in its bad decisions

We should be clear about the purpose of protest , its just to draw the attention of government toward the improvement of the heath related issue including healthy quarantine, proper management for the immigrants , 100% pcr and all. The purpose of protest is not to pull down the government – This is the time to act as a watch god to the activities of government going beyond the promotion or criticism of any political party – you a healthy life
